Abu Ghraib Officials Cleared

Top military officials today cleared fellow top military officials of any wrong-doing connected with the Abu Ghraib torture scandal. It just strikes me that that's kind of like asking a criminal's best friends and family whether or not he's guilty. Further down the chain of command in Abu Ghraib, there were punishments dealt out, but the head honchos were "found" completely innocent. The Pentagon today commented on the ruling: "Oh, you know. They know what they did wrong. We asked them if they were sorry, they said yes. So..."
